About My Pottery All of my pottery is handmade and hand glazed.  As you make your purchase from Miry Clay, be assured you are receiving a unique, one of a kind piece.  I carefully craft my pottery from  CERTIFIED  NONTOXIC clay that is mined out of California.  All of my beautiful glazes are dinnerware safe.  All pottery is dishwasher, microwave, and oven safe (with the exception of any pieces fired with the gold accents, which are specified).  Because it is versatile,  feel free to use your pie dish to bake your chicken and rice dinner in.  A colander makes a great fruit bowl, and your pitcher makes a beautiful flower vase.  Think outside the pot!  Please remember that every piece is handmade, so colors and sizes vary ~ those qualities add to the uniqueness of your piece!                                                                   Remember a few things to preserve your  pottery: v     Never use on stovetop burners or under broiler v     Do not freeze v     When baking put in oven during preheating stage and not directly from refrigerator ~ it should first come to room temperature.  v     Increase or decrease temperatures  slowly to avoid breakage v     Place in warm water if necessary v     Do not use pieces fired with gold glaze accents in microwave or dishwasher
